Nets of Familiar Solids |
This collection of nets includes the cube, two square-based pyramids, three different tetrahedra and an octahedron. The example on the left is the regular tetrahedron, which has 4 equilateral triangles. Each net has been designed to maximise the space on an A4 page and has flaps already in place, to ease construction.

All 11 Nets of a cube This link offers you a page showing all 11 nets of a cube. A good way to explore these is to give children six squares of Polydron or similar construction material. Allow them to make the cube and then unfold it to produce a variety of nets.
